Mzansi’s media darling, Bonang Matheba, is one woman who cannot be put down. After enduring weeks of ridicule and criticism following the release of her poorly edited book, From A to B, the Queen B has come back stronger and released a new and second edition of the much publicised memoir.
Many will remember how B received flack for the book shortly after its release last month after it was found to have contained grammatical and factual errors. Things got so bad that bookselling store, Exclusive Books even went as far as to remove the book from its shelves and offered full refunds to unhappy customers.
All the drama, however, appears to be behind Bonang as she relaunched the new and revised edition of her tell all book at an intimate launch party at Johannesburg’s Mall of Africa on Thursday night.
Die-hard B stans, who Bonang has now termed the “BForce”, pulled through to show their love and support for the star. Blackbird Books publisher Thabiso Mahlape, who also received a lot of backlash for the role she played in editing the first edition, was also there.

Bonang became evidently emotional as she spoke of the book’s tumultuous journey in the last month, and thanked her fans for their unwavering love and support for her. Take a look at snippets from the moving video:
