Kanye West explains Jay-Z feud

Kanye West fell out with Jay-Z after his mentor failed to attend his wedding.

The Stronger rapper admitted he was ‘hurt’ when his friend and wife Beyonce failed to join him in Italy in 2014 when he tied the knot with Kim Kardashian West – with whom he has children North, four, Saint, two, and three-month-old Chicago – because the couple are like ‘family’ to him.

Speaking to Charlamagne Tha God on iHeartRadio’s ‘The Breakfast Club’, he said: ‘I was hurt about them not coming to the wedding. I understand they were going through some things, but if it’s family, you’re not going to miss a wedding.

‘I’m not using this interview to put out any negative things, but I gotta state my truth. You just start coming up with all type of crazy things in your head, like ‘Why?’ ‘

The 40-year-old star insists he is ‘past’ feeling disappointed now, though he was upset at the time, and though the pair are back on speaking terms, Kanye has never directly asked Jay about the snub.

He said: ‘I don’t think I ever asked him that question, directly.’

The ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker also addressed Jay’s track ‘Kill Jay-Z’, from his 2017 album ‘4:44’, in which the Tidal founder slammed Kanye and claimed he ‘gave him 20 million’ when in return he was called out on stage by the rapper in a lengthy rant in 2016.

And Kanye claimed he was left ‘frustrated’ by the lyrics of the track because the money referenced was from a Live Nation touring deal.

He said: ‘That concept that he gave me the money that’s what frustrated me because actually the money he got it from Live Nation. It was a touring deal.

‘But the fact that it was worded that it came from him — I’m a very loyal, emotional artist, person, that made me feel like I owed more than the money itself. It put me in more of a controlled situation. I’m only acting out of love — I don’t need to be controlled, I just need to be inspired and informed.’

The former ‘Watch the Throne’ tourmates haven’t seen one another since their falling out but Kanye said they are ‘good now’.

He added: ‘We’re texting each other. It’s positive energy. I haven’t seen him, but I can feel him.’

Beyoncé is getting mommy-shamed for this photo, and the internet needs to relax

BeyoncéBeyoncé enjoyed some well-deserved R&R over the weekend, stepping out with husband Jay-Z for a little sushi date in Los Angeles. It looks like the two had an amazing time; Bey even shared pictures of herself and Jay sipping on what looks like red wine to Instagram. This is a completely normal activity for two grown-ass adults, right? There’s literally nothing to see here. Bey and Jay just welcomed twins, for crying out loud; they’re completely allowed to have an evening just for themselves.

But, of course, the Internet had an issue with Beyoncé’s perfectly harmless night on the town. The Huffington Post reports mommy-shamers flooded the comments section of the photo, below, debating whether or not Beyoncé’ is breastfeeding her two new babies, Rumi and Sir Carter.

Several people assumed the Lemonade singer is breastfeeding and promptly criticized her for drinking alcohol.

“You feed your children with your breast why do you drink?!” one person commented. “Beyoncé please don’t be drinking too much,” wrote someone else.

And it gets worse: Another group of mommy-shamers figured Beyoncé isn’t breastfeeding and slammed her for giving Rumi and Sir formula too early. “Guess she’s not breast feeding,” one user said. (If this doesn’t prove celebrities can’t win, then what does?)

Frankly, all this discussion about Beyoncé’s breastfeeding habits is invasive and wrong. We don’t know Beyoncé—it’s unfair to make assumptions about her based on one photo. In fact, it’s unfair to make assumptions about her at all. How Bey feeds her children is, truthfully, not our concern. She knows what’s best for Rumi and Sir more than anyone else. End of story.

This BeyHive member’s comment perfectly sums up our defence: “No one’s business what she drinks or what the babies drink from.” Damn straight.

Beyonce is “full of energy” around her twins

Beyoncé shares first ever picture of twins Sir and RumibeyonceBeyoncé is “full of energy and life” around her new twin babies. The 35-year-old beauty – who also has a five-year-old daughter called Blue with her husband, rap star Jay-Z – welcomed Rumi and Sir Carter into the world in June, and Queen B is apparently relishing the demands of raising her three young children.

A source said: “Beyoncé is amazing, she is clocking hardly any sleep right now, but she’s full of energy and life! Most new moms of twins struggle to even function at this stage, but Beyoncé is thriving.

“I mean, obviously it helps that she and Jay-Z have nannies and a bunch of staff, but she’s still really hands on and she’s breastfeeding, which means she’s hardly getting a break rest wise – but then, Beyoncé has always functioned best on less sleep than most of us mere mortals!”

The ‘Formation’ hitmaker is reportedly already close to regaining her pre-pregnancy figure, too. The insider told HollywoodLife.com: “You would never believe that Beyoncé gave birth to twins just weeks ago. She’s lost nearly all the baby weight, and her body has snapped right back… She looks awesome!”

Despite this, Bey remains grateful to the support network that surrounds her. The source said: “Beyoncé is so thankful that she has staff around her to help out, and she’s in awe of women who manage to raise twins on their own. Beyoncé and Jay keep telling themselves that it will get easier, but in the meantime, they’re just embracing the craziness, and thanking God that they have each other to lean on.”

Meanwhile, it was recently claimed Beyoncé has no immediate plans to return to the recording studio and is instead focused on the well-being of her children. A source said: “Beyoncé is happy with just being a mom right now. She has no plans to work. She seems relaxed and very happy. Everything is good with her and Jay, and they seem to have a lot of fun raising their family together.”

Social media reacts to #Beyoncé’sTwins

So Beyonce finally decided to show the world her twins and as soon as she posted a picture of Sir Carter and Rumi, the internet responded.

Here are some of the reactions to Beyonce’s post;

Beyoncé shares first ever picture of her twins!

Beyoncé shares first ever picture of twins Sir and RumiBeyoncé has shared the first picture of her newborn twins, Sir and Rumi Carter, in the most Beyoncé way ever.

The star took to Instagram last night for the first time since giving birth to show off a photo of herself posing with the babies in her arms. She confirmed their names in her caption, saying “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today. ??❤️??????????”

Bey and husband JAY-Z welcomed the twins earlier this month and have reportedly already filed trademarks to protect their baby names.

Following the birth, a source told E! News that Bey and her babies are “doing great” and another said the mum-of-three “looked amazing and was glowing.”

Their temporary home in Malibu, where the family will stay for the remainder of the summer, is on the market for around R718.9 million, and the MailOnline has reported that the twins will spend their first few months in a R5.1 million nursery with its own planetarium.

Beyoncé first announced her pregnancy in February, posting an image on Instagram, showing off her baby bump in Agent Provocateur underwear.

“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,” she wrote. “We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.” The statement was signed “The Carters”.

You have to hear Jay-Z’s description of Kanye ?

Jay-ZJay-Z is focused on his family’s welfare rather than building bridges with Kanye West. The New York-born rap star and his wife Beyonce welcomed twins babies into the world in June, and Jay reportedly isn’t allowing Kanye’s decision to quit his streaming service Tidal to distract him from his responsibilities as a parent.

A source explained: “Jay-Z has all his attention on being a father, being a husband, and watching the success of his new album flourish. All Kanye is to him right now is like dealing with a pesky fly that flies into your food. It’s flying around and you just want to get away from it and enjoy your meal.”

Jay, 47, released his long-awaited 4:44 album on June 30 and he addresses their strained relationship on the record ‘Kill Jay-Z’. But he isn’t overly concerned by Kanye’s decision to quit Tidal and is instead happy for his lawyers to resolve the situation.

The insider told HollywoodLife.com: “This latest decree or whatever it is that Kanye wants to leave Tidal will all be sorted out by lawyers. Jay will avoid all nonsense that Kanye often brings, and will not listen to his whining. Jay has more important things to worry about.”

Kanye’s decision to walk away from Tidal comes shortly after a source claimed that Jay and Beyoncé – who also have a five-year-old daughter named Blue Ivy – “have never been happier”.

Although the arrival of their twins has left the celebrity duo feeling “totally exhausted”, Beyoncé and Jay are both still overjoyed. A source said: “At nights, Beyoncé has been overwhelmed with all the work needed caring for two babies. Despite all the help they are receiving, Jay is still pitching it so that Beyoncé has total support. Neither Beyoncé nor Jay have been able to enjoy an entire night of sleep since the twins arrived. They are totally exhausted but at the same time have never been happier as a family.”

Drumroll please: Beyoncé’s twins have names!

BeyoncéThe Internet shut down after news broke that Beyoncé gave birth to her twins, and now it appears we have the most important update on the Bey-bies — their names.

Drumroll, please: Beyoncé’s twins — one female, one male, reportedly — are named Rumi and Sir Carter, according to TMZ. Future icons in the making, obviously.

TMZ says it got this bit of intel via legal documents just filed by the company that owns the trademarks to Bey and Jay’s names. They filed to secure the rights to the names Rumi Carter and Sir Carter, and to reportedly trademark “fragrances, cosmetics, key chains, baby teething rings, strollers, mugs, water bottles, hair ribbons, playing cards, tote bags, sports balls and rattles and novelty items.”

People reported on June 17 that Bey and Jay-Z had welcomed their twins and, according to TMZ, the babies were born on Monday (June 12) and had a minor issue that kept them (and Beyoncé) in the hospital for a few extra days.
